Americans have always loved the new cars that are launched in the market, but they are equally passionate with Jeep that remains one of the oldest brands in the country with history that dates backs to World War 2. Jeep has offered some of the highly durable and rugged vehicles to the US military and they continue to do that with some of the new vehicles that they have introduced lately. Now, Jeep has come up with the new 2014 Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition which is a civilian jeep designed for better features and durability. Jeep claims that this car is inspired from the original classic CJs of the 1940s and that is clearly visible in some of the features that are available in the vehicle.
The exterior of the vehicle is very much sporty and rugged and therefore it gets gloss black grille with black Jeep badge on it. The vehicle also has gloss black front and rear bumper appliqués along with 4 Wheel Drive rear tailgate decal and Willys hood decals. The vehicle gets 17 inch aluminum wheels. It also comes with standard Sunrider soft top and deep tint sunscreen rear windows.
The vehicle is powered by an award winning 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine that delivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb feet of torque. The vehicle is available with standard six speed manual transmission and five speed automatic transmission which is optional. It offers fuel economy of 21 mpg on the highway which is pretty good compared to other vehicles in the same range.
2014 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition also features upgraded hardware including a Dana 44 rear axle with Trac-Lock limited slip rear differential and 3.73 gears. On the inside, it features better seating to the driver and the front passenger and offers better connectivity features with SiriusXM satellite radio. The vehicle will be available in the market early next year at $25,792 price tag.
