Chevrolet to Roll Out Silverado Anthem on Independence Day

Are you ready for the new 2014 Chevy Silverado anthem? Chevrolet has been working hard to market and promote the new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado full size pickup vehicle in the US market. The car maker has now announced that they have come up with the new 2014 Chevy Silverado anthem which will be a part of their marketing campaign. The new anthem will be called “Strong” and the campaign begins exclusively in Texas featuring the original song by Grammy nominated recording artist Will Hoge. Chevrolet said that Texas is the heartland and strong market for full size pickup trucks and therefore they are starting their campaign from here.

Tim Mahoney, Global Chevrolet Chief Marketing Officer said that they have decided Texas because there is no appropriate place to start such a campaign. He said that the new anthem debuts on July 4 and then rolls out nationally by the end of July. He said that the lyrics of the song Strong celebrate the dependability and capability of the Silverado truck owners and the trucks as well. The song will be launched as a music video, digital download and also as television advertisement.

Mahoney also revealed that the interesting thing about the new anthem is that most of the people that will appear in the video are real Chevrolet Silverado owners and not professional actors. He also said that while the lyrics of the song focus on brand marketing it also perfectly blends with the American pride and passion for making vehicles that can stand the test of time.
